Arena Free For All (FFA)

Bobbaloo, the player that started the Good Games (GG) Blades Discord server, persuaded Bethesda to provide 100 free gems every weekend for players entering the arena between 10.00-12.00 Eastern Standard Time (US). This has become an GG Server event called the:

Arena Free For All (FFA)

ALL players at any level are invited to help flood the Arena.

Ground Rules - Just show up and play however you would like! Go all out, experiment, use pots, use aversions, whatever - - - -
JUST GET IN THERE AND FIGHT!

IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO JOIN GGs - anyone can play! If you want your matches to count toward Player of the Week honours, though, you need to either join GGs AND post your matches in the FFA channel

Remember to post ANY match - it does not matter who you fought, whether they are on GGs or not or who won.

AFTER the event is over, the games will added up from all of the matches - and the player who posted the MOST MATCHES will become the PLAYER OF THE WEEK!.

So do not be afraid if you are low level, you can still win! And the arena is a great way to get gold! Even if you lose! So, gear up, get your alchemists brewing and your axe repaired and ready for battle! And we will have ourselves a little arena fun again this weekend!

This is now managed by Queen Ebba/Elenwen of With and run every Saturday. You do not even have to play to get the 100 free gems, just enter the arena during this time window. Note if you are already in the arena at this time then you need to leave and come back.

Discord is an instant messaging and VoIP social platform which allows communication through voice calls, video calls, text messaging, and media and files. Communication can be private or take place in virtual communities called "servers". A server is a collection of persistent chat rooms and voice channels which can be accessed via invite links.

Discord runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, iPadOS, Linux, and in web browsers. and it is primarily used by gamers. Originally developed for gamers to communicate as teams during game play, though, its use has expanded considerably and is now owned by Microsoft with (as of 2024) about 150 million monthly active users and 19 million weekly active servers.

The dedicated Elder Scrolls Blades servers are where most of the players interact. Most guilds have their own server though the GG Blades server is the largest group of players and a great place to start.

This is a social media platform, though thankfully it does NOT have any “news’ feeds or algorithms pumping garbage into your app, it is up to you to go to servers, read posts and ask questions, you are not swamped with the platform feeding you rubbish!

Though you should probably turn off notifications on every new message or you will get a constant stream of notifications.

It is highly recommended you join Discord and your Guild’s server. Note, this is an open platform and discussions can involve adult language. So, if you are young and not allowed to use Discord, I recommend you get your parents or a sibling to join on your behalf, allowing you to ask questions and let your Guild Master know your age and they may restrict your access to some channels.
